These are so soft and chewy, not the tough kind of licorice that fights back. The cats hold their shape well but still give that proper anise hit. Ten out of ten.
I'd forgotten how good proper black licorice tastes until these arrived. The cats are a decent size, chewy without sticking to my teeth, and the anise flavour lingers just long enough. Half the bag was gone before I even sat down.
