The truffle center is so soft it almost melts before you even bite through the chocolate shell. I brought one to a movie night and it was gone before the opening credits. 105g disappears faster than you'd think.
The layers hold up surprisingly well for a bar this size—that crumbly Nanaimo base and smooth chocolate top make it dangerously easy to finish in one sitting. I've already ordered a second one to hide from my family.
The truffle center is genuinely smooth—it melts right against your tongue, though I wish the bar was a touch thicker for the price. That said, the Nanaimo-style crumb base adds a nice textural contrast that kept me reaching for another square.
