Chips de pomme de terre épicés Ajigen Yawataya Isogoro Shichimi (Japon) - 50g

I was bracing for straight heat, but the shichimi hits more like a slow warmth with a bit of orange peel in the background. The 50g bag lasted me exactly one sitting, which is both a compliment and a problem.

These have a proper slow burn that builds with every handful, way more heat than the usual red pepper chips I grab. The 50g bag disappeared in one sitting, so I'll be buying a few next time.

The shichimi blend gives these a citrusy heat that builds slowly instead of just burning, and the chips stay impressively crunchy for a 50g bag. Ate the whole thing in one sitting and immediately wished I'd bought two.
